A simple four-step build
One 45-minute kickoff and about 30 to 45 minutes per week for approvals. ZHS handles the rest.
- 1
Kickoff and intake Week 1
We align on your brand, products, offer, customers, and voice.
- 2
Strategy, copy, and design Weeks 1 to 3
We map, write, and design the complete system with short approvals from you.
- 3
Build and QA Weeks 3 to 4
We configure the platform, store events, triggers, filters, and every message.
- 4
Launch and handoff Weeks 4 to 5
The total build takes 3 to 5 weeks with timely approvals. A migration or new-store cutover can move go-live without stopping strategy, copy, design, or build work.
The investment and honest return
A one-time build designed to compound as more attention reaches your store.
No retainer. You own everything.
- 3 revision rounds
- 1 to 3 split tests per flow
- Recorded training and written docs
- 3 weeks of post-launch support
A solid core flow layer can convert roughly this share of revenue from existing attention for some brands. It is an illustration, not a promise or guaranteed payback.
Results vary with traffic, average order value, offer, conversion rate, and list growth. For smaller lists, immediate return may be modest. The system gets more valuable as traffic and customers grow.
Put the system in place before more paid, organic, influencer, retail, PR, launch, or other attention arrives, or before a migration cutover, so future demand has a complete follow-up path.
Klaviyo is billed directly based on active profiles. Optional Alia popup software is typically about $100 per month for most brands through the ZHS agency rate after a 30-day client trial. Provider pricing can change. Klaviyo pricing · Alia pricing
Is this the right next move?
A good foundation is valuable only when the timing and scope fit the brand.
- DTC or ecommerce brand, generally below $100K per month.
- Live store and real orders, or a committed launch in the next 30 to 45 days with store, offer, and checkout ready.
- Missing, weak, or outdated welcome, abandonment, and post-purchase flows.
- Wants the foundation live before increasing attention or traffic.
- Uses Klaviyo or a compatible event-driven platform, or is open to the right setup.
- Wants a defined one-time build and can provide timely approvals.
- No viable store, offer, or path to customers yet.
- Main need is ongoing campaigns, subscription lifecycle, or full retention management.
- An imminent rebrand or site rebuild would materially change the work and is not yet locked.
- Committed to an incompatible platform.
- $3,200 would create material financial strain before customer volume can support the build.
If timing is unclear, book the fit call. ZHS will tell you directly whether to build now, wait, or use a different scope.
Common questions
My list is small. Is it too early?
Maybe. A smaller list can mean modest immediate return. This is usually a fit when your store is live and getting real orders, or when a committed launch is 30 to 45 days away and the store, offer, and checkout are ready. The system becomes more valuable as traffic and customers grow.
Should I wait for more traffic, a launch, rebrand, or migration?
Build before paid, organic, influencer, retail, PR, launch, or other attention ramps when the offer and site direction are stable. Strategy, copy, design, and build can continue during a migration or new-store project. The cutover may move go-live. If a rebrand will materially change the work and is not locked, waiting is often smarter.
What platform do I need, and do you set it up?
Klaviyo is our primary platform, and we handle its core setup, store connection, events, triggers, filters, and QA. We can also use another compatible event-driven platform when it supports the required store events. We confirm fit before kickoff.
What results should I expect, and what gets measured?
A solid core flow layer can illustrate roughly 10-20% in flow revenue from existing attention, but that is not a promise. Results vary with traffic, average order value, offer, conversion rate, and list growth. We track list growth, first-purchase conversion, abandonment recovery, repeat purchase, time to second order, returning-customer revenue, and customer cohorts.
What is included, and what is outside the scope?
The Foundation includes one popup, platform setup, and ten automated emails across welcome, cart, checkout, browse, and post-purchase. ZHS handles strategy, copy, design, setup, build, QA, and launch. Ongoing or seasonal campaigns, subscription lifecycle, winback, sunset, replenishment, and custom event work are separate. SMS or WhatsApp for the approved core journey is a $750 one-time add-on.
What software costs are separate?
Klaviyo bills you directly based on active profiles. Alia is an optional popup and list-growth platform, typically about $100 per month for most brands through the ZHS agency rate after a 30-day client trial. Provider pricing can change, and Alia is not required.
What happens from onboarding through handoff?
You complete one intake, join one 45-minute kickoff, and spend about 30 to 45 minutes per week on approvals. The build takes 3 to 5 weeks with timely approvals. You own the account and every deliverable, then receive recorded training, written documentation, and 3 weeks of post-launch Slack support.
